Description:

The Marketing Communications team is seeking a junior or senior graphic design student to assist the SUU Marketing Communication graphic designers in the creation of print, web and multimedia projects. This position qualifies for internship credit with departmental approval and is an excellent opportunity for Graphic Design students to gain on-the-job experience for a future career.

Qualifications:

  • Previous graphic design experience (the more the better). This can include coursework, but professional work is a bonus.
  • Skilled with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Bonus points if you are also familiar with After Effects.
  • Solid understanding of page layout, typography, ad creation, basic image manipulation, and resolution and color considerations for print/web.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in one on one and group settings.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and balance varying volumes of work assignments and adapt to the changing needs of the office.
  • A reasonably flexible schedule.
  • Work study is preferred but not required.
